In joint venture with Kookje Co., Ltd, DHI continues to make steady progress in the construction of a new 300-passenger ferry for the Mafia-Nyamisati route. As of 26 February 2026, overall project progress at the DHI Kimbiji yard has reached 65.3%. Ongoing works include fabrication of key structural sections, installation activities, bulwark fitting, welding, and structural erection.
