DMG Heavy Industries, in a joint venture agreement with Gas Entec of South Korea, has signed a contract with Tanzania Shipping Corporation (TASHICO) to design, build, and commission a 600-passenger vessel for operations on Lake Tanganyika, Kigoma. This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in enhancing marine transport infrastructure and aims to improve the safety and efficiency of passengers and goods transport across Lake Tanganyika and neighbouring countries.
